Prison Rape
Instapundit has a good link to an article on Prison Rape. I tried to get a few students interested in setting up a mini-conference at Stanford this year, but few really saw the point. "Why should we care if somebody gets raped in jail" was a frequent question. The problem with Prison Rape is not awareness - almost everybody knows about it. The problem is that most people don't see anything wrong with it.
